Why I Created Weekend Adventures

Hi, I'm Sarah and I believe that exploring God’s creation with like-minded Christians can be life-changing, bringing joy, purpose, and lasting relationships that strengthen your walk with Christ.

​

God gave me a heart for community and travel back in middle school when I went to church camp - where I grew closer to the Lord, made new friends, and experienced new adventures. Then, as a Youth Ministry leader, I have seen the impact a group adventure can have on one's faith walk. And enjoyed getting to create those same experiences for others.

​

Now, as the Director of Travel Ministries for Christian Travelers' Network, I want to help bring those experiences into our adult life. Who said that faith growth and community has to stop once we become adults?

​

Thus in 2025, I am setting out with a goal to help 10,000 Christian Travelers experience God's creation on Weekend Adventures around the globe!

  • Absolutely. Each weekend includes time for Bible study and worship to grow spiritually alongside your new travel friends.

  • Think local attractions, fun group outings, and meals at great spots—all designed to help you explore and connect with others.

  • We'll let you know when your top 3 destinations come available - as well as other travel opportunities. Pick the one that works best with your schedule!

  • The fee helps cover the cost of reserving the venue, Bible study supplies, and other materials for your time together. You will be responsible for meals, activities, transportation, and housing.
